JAKARTA, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian paragliding athlete Rika Wijayanti is upbeat over her chances at the Asian Games this year.

The paraglider said that she will take part in different events in order to help hone her skills before Games.

"I have set a gold medal target at the Asian Games," she said.

The 23-year old Wijayanti is the world's number 3 paraglider, Tempo media reported on Tuesday.

The Indonesian paraglider won earlier this year in Cyprus, cementing her position as one of the best paragliders in the world.

The 18th Asian Games is scheduled to be held in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta and in Palembang, the provincial capital of South Sumatra.
