          TOKYO, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo shares rallied Tuesday on stronger Chinese stocks and the weaker yen against the U.S. dollar.

          The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended up 113.49 points, or 0.51 percent, from Monday at 22,510.48.

          The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 8.16 points, or 0.47 percent, higher at 1,746.86.

          Trading volume on the main section came to 1,246.50 million shares, down from Monday's volume of 1,399.61 million shares.

          Among all shares listed on the First Section, advancing issues outnumbered decliners 1,443 to 564, with 96 ending the day unchanged.

          Gainers were led by iron and steel, machinery and non-ferrous metal issues.

          The day's turnover was around 2,039.2 billion yen (18.33 billion U.S. dollars).?
