KAMPALA, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Uganda's President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup trophy on March 5th.

Uganda will be among the privileged 10 African countries that will host the coveted trophy. "We are extremely happy to be hosting the FIFA World Cup Trophy. This makes us proud as Ugandans. It will be a motivational moment as well," added Kaheru.

The trophy will also be taken to the Coca Cola plant in Namanve, VIP viewing at the Serena Hotel and on March 6th for public viewing at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Overall, there are 51 countries where this trophy has been moving between January and April 2018 before it ends up in Russia where the World Cup will be hosted between June 14 and July 15th.
